All content including text and images contained on Web sites published by me are the intellectual property of John Wills Lloyd and are protected under the U.S. Copyright Act 17 U.S.C. 101-810. Copyright law gives me, the copyright owner, the exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, perform, display, or license the work. Regardless of whether a Web site includes a statement about copyright, the U.S. copyright act protects these works; they may not be used or reproduced without my express permission. Although I fully expect to provide appropriate attribution, if you post something to one of my Web sites, you are transferring copyright of that content to me.

Fine Print

First, I appreciate the contributions of those with whom I live and work, but they are not culpable for the content I post on any of my sites.

Second, I reserve the authority to remove from any site that I own any text that has been put there, whether by me or by someone using an interactive feature of the site. I shall not tolerate the placement of unauthorized advertisements, references to inappropriate content (including porn, copyright-violating content, etc.). Anyone posting material to any site I own does so with the express understanding that I maintain editorial control over the site and any any content on it.

Third, there is no reason to write to me to request permission to link to material that I have posted on any of my sites. If I've put up a page, you're welcome to link to it.
